To ensure proper application, be sure to clean all surfaces and remove any dirt, grease, oil, or old sealant. It is recommended to use the sealant above 40°F for best results. The application process is simple: unscrew the cap, attach the nozzle, cut to desired bead size, apply the sealant, and smooth the bead before a skin forms. After use, replace the cap tightly to prevent curing and store in a cool, dry location.

It is important to note that Gorilla Waterproof Caulk & Seal should not be used on wet, damp, frozen, or contaminated surfaces. It is also not paintable and should not be used underwater, in aquariums, on brick, masonry, cementitious materials, or on metals sensitive to corrosion. For general auto and marine applications only, this sealant is not suitable for under hood or direct gasoline exposure. Additionally, for gaps larger than ½”, a backer rod should be used.

In terms of clean-up, any wet sealant should be wiped off immediately with a dry cloth. Isopropyl alcohol can be used according to the solvent manufacturer’s instructions. The service temperature range for this sealant is from -40°F to 350°F (-40°C to 176°C).
